God of War: Ragnarok Revealed for 2021

Thanks to the PS5 Showcase Event, we finally have a teaser for God of War: Ragnarok.

God of War: Ragnarok Revealed for 2021

While there were a lot of naysayers when it came to the 2018 God of War reboot, the PS4 exclusive has come out to be one of the best games in the system. Thanks to the PS5 Showcase Event, we finally have a teaser for God of War: Ragnarok.

We don’t really get a good look at the game yet, but we do have some voiceover from Kratos saying, “The time draws near. You must prepare yourself,” then we get a tagline “Ragnarok is coming.”

Besides that, we get the return of the revamped “Omega” symbol with Nordic runes, but this time it’s blue; plus we have that sweet God of War theme from Bear McCreary playing over everything.

While the first game had teased that Kratos would be jumping into other mythologies like Chinese and Egyptian myths, it looks like this sequel is going to stick with the Norse setting. If anything, this could wrap up the whole reveal of Atreus’ true identity, plus we get to see Kratos face off with the most infamous Norse god, Tho

Man, imagine what the fan reaction would be if they killed Kratos off in the middle of the game and have you play as Atreus in search of revenge on Thor?
