Feral Interactive's Company of Heroes has been of the most renowned World War II real-time strategies of its time. Now, the critically acclaimed title is now being adapted for the iPhone and the Android and will be coming out later this year.
Company of Heroes has had a remarkable success since it first release on the PC in 2006. It currently stands at 75th in our all-time PC ranking with a playscore of 8.90. It has previously been adapted for the iPad, earning it a playscore of 8.43. This upcoming release marks the first time it will be optimized for smaller smartphone devices.
A masterpiece of simulated warfare, Company of Heroes puts players in command of two companies of American soldiers, and challenges them to direct an intense squad-based campaign starting at the D-Day Invasion of Normandy.
Fully tailored to and optimised for mobile devices, Company of Heroes features a sophisticated user interface that helps players execute real-time tactics, adapt to rapidly shifting combat environments, and overcome ferocious opposition to secure the liberation of France.
According to their press release, Company of Heroes will be a premium game which will be available on the App Store and Google Play Store for $13.99 / £13.99 / €14,99. Those who already own the game on the iPad will get to download the game for free.
