The simple mechanics, deep strategy, and stacks of charm are balanced so perfectly together that it’s impossible to imagine a single change that could really improve upon what Sirvo has created. It is, as Karate Kid-inspired ThreeJay would say, “the best around.”
Threes is a great mix of simplicity, style and fun. Even if you hate math and numbers, you’ll dig this. I was really surprised by how many times I kept coming back to Threes. Each time I played, I got better and better at strategically planning where to slide my tiles. And even if I messed up, I didn’t care. I knew I could dive right back in and try again. Slide over Tetris, I’ve got a new puzzle game to try and master.
After spending 20+ hours with it, I’m happy with my score – but I glance at the worldwide leaderboards and realize I’m not ready to stop playing yet. The game rewards strategy and patience time and time again, and you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not having it on your iOS devices.
