Olympus Rising

With graphics that are absolutely great and filled with detail, and that carries into the sound as well. The game itself is fun to play once you get the hang of it, especially with the broad range of controls over the movements of your character. The biggest problem is that there is a bit of a learning curve within the game that makes it a little difficult to just pick up and put down again. The game is also on the larger side and will eat away at your battery. There is also quite a bit of violence within the game.

The actual gameplay is fun, and I really enjoyed battling my way through enemy defenses — but I’m so limited by how much gameplay that I can get at a time. And in my opinion, it just wasn’t worth it to spend real money on fuel — a commodity that gives me no guarantee of successfully capturing an island, and no guarantee of keeping it if I do.

Olympus Rising isn't bad at all, then. Its mythological theme is light but nicely-implemented, and it does feel notably different to competing free to play games. However, it demands a lot of investment from its players while offering little gameplay variation in return.
