Lumino City

Lumino City rarely steps away from simply looking gorgeous though. Its storyline is pretty barebones, relying on you to be charmed by its good looks, rather than its depth. That goes some way to correcting its issues, but it also means you’ll keep wondering why it couldn’t have been better. It’s so close to being something really special, but doesn’t quite manage it.

I’m still fairly early on in Lumino City, but I have been thoroughly enjoying it so far. The game is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen, the music is outstanding, controls are simple to learn, the puzzles are terrific, and the story is rather captivating and immersive. This is a puzzle adventure that is worth every penny and highly recommended if you are a fan of the genre.

As a premium game, Lumino City's price feels right on the mark. There's no boosts or IAP involved, you simply need to deduce your way to the game's conclusion. In that sense, it's a perfect pickup for old school adventure fans alike.
