Summary
Five years ago, Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas, a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it’s the early 90’s. Carl’s got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.
On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

Still, this mobile port's every bit as fun as playing the original if you have the gamepad to support it, but the touchscreen control, while competent are not the best way to play. At seven bucks for some of the most memorable gaming content of the last decade, though, it's probably a risk worth taking.
Rockstar Games once again comes through with a quality console-to-mobile release. The game looks and sounds superb on supported iOS devices and runs like a dream. The controls work extremely well, although there are times you may stumble if you're not using an iOS 7 joypad. Plus, most of the console's content remains intact, including the wonderful mini-games, the side missions, and various activities.
Classics like this stand the test of time, even if it appears on a much smaller screen. Don’t miss out on the chance to revisit the game that molded an entire generation. Not all games age elegantly. Though while Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is certainly showing its age, everything that made it great still shows through brilliantly.
