In Don't Starve: Shipwrecked, Wilson finds himself stranded in a tropical archipelago. He must learn to survive all over again in this new environment filled with new biomes, seasons, and creatures. Don’t let the tropical breeze lull you into a false sense of security - the world might be different, but it is still equal parts unforgiving and uncompromising. You will quickly find these islands are full to the brim with things that want to kill you.

Don't Starve: Shipwrecked is worth checking out if you like the kind of gameplay that the Don't Starve series offers. This entry does a few new things, but not quite enough to feel like it will win over too many new fans. For me, I respect these games and can have a decent time with them from time to time, but the prospect of restarting on every death fills me with a kind of dread that pushes me away from diving back in.
There’s so much to love about Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked that you should get stuck in as soon as you can. Hopefully, this release is a sign of more to come from Klei for Don’t Starve’s mobile gamers. (We’re still holding out hope that one of these editions will eventually get the terrific multiplayer found in Don’t Starve Together).
Still, Don't Starve is a one of a kind experience that manages to marry survival mechanics that so many games have done before it, with a cartoonish, Tim Burton-esque charm. Once you've embarked upon a dozen runs or so the game runs like clockwork, and even the touch controls fall into place.
