Combining a steampunk art style with neon-like 3D visuals, watch as your attacks fill the screen with color. A chilled-out soundtrack perfectly fits this action/arcade shooter.

It’s a keen and satisfactory mix, easily fostering the “just one more go” mentality that works so well for games in this genre. Abyss Attack is a game that deserves to stick around on one’s iOS device for a while to come. Shoot at everything that moves in this endless auto shooter, and watch as fun is had by all.

On the surface, it may exist as a nice little ocean shooter surrounded with beautiful pictures, but after compulsively playing this app for over an hour, I was still entranced by this enchanting world. It’s hard to describe the seductive power of Abyss Attack’s visual design, but its deep waters can only be eclipsed by the breadth of one’s imagination.

The game looks and sounds great, plays well, and doesn’t bog players down with a slew of unwanted microtransactions. The gameplay is simple and familiar, yet well done. Enemies and locations are creative and the action is non-stop joy for shooter fans. Beyond that, though, the sheer amount of goals and achievements make the game incredibly addictive.
