I did not like anything about this game.

The OST sounds pretty amateur, I didn't like the music at all.

I know I'm in a space suit, you don't need to make me play the game through a visor view, it didn't make me feel anymore in a space suit, it just made me very aware that I had a really annoying overlay on my screen. I don't need to get up, have breakfast and brush my teeth to know it's morning in a game and I certainly didn't need that whopping big display to know I had a helmet.

The game world looks nice in the cut scenes but a lot of the in game graphics felt a bit mushy.

Controls were average.

Overall I just had no fun with it at all and was glad to be finished. The whole atmosphere just wasn't there for me. They got the dark atmosphere but everything just felt a bit out of place and moving around felt awkward. Not quite clunky but not far off.

Like I said, just not a fun play at all and pretty expensive for a game to not enjoy anything about it. I can't give any points for something I didn't even slightly enjoy my time with. I've had games of the eshop for £1 that I enjoyed way more.

So overrated

Refrito y aburrido.

When the original came out on the GameCube it blow my mind away, how Retro Studios was able to bring the essence of the 2D Metroid to the 3D gaming world, something that many thought to be impossible. With this new Remaster, Retro has done it again, it's amazing how they were able to bring this game back to life, definitely the best looking Switch game hands down, the modern control scheme is a great addition, if you've never had the pleasure to play the original you definitely should play the Remastered.

The Masterpiece of all Masterpieces

Have you tried playing the Metroid series before? Metroid Prime was first released on the GameCube. It was the first time that you are playing the game from the perspective of Samus, hence this game is so popular back then. By Nintendo shadow drop the release of the Remastered, people went bonkers with the trailer and the same day release. It is basically the "CALL OF DUTY"-esque of Nintendo. Back then, I don't have the slightest interest of METROID PRIME on the GameCube. Not only that I don't have any fond memories of the system, not even the game. Few years after, I got into playing CALL OF DUTY during the first three games of BLACK OPS and MODERN WARFARE. When I heard there was a METROID that is FPS, I had the yearning to play it but not on the GAMECUBE nor the WII. Now that its on the SWITCH, I had to get it. Since I now have played the game, it will get interesting with the sequel (Metroid Prime 2: Echoes). But I have heard that MP3:Corruption was the black sheep of the of the series. Nintendo is buying more time to perfect the release of METROID PRIME 4. Once that is release, there may have some reference of the game to Metroid Prime: Remastered. Then again, NINTENDO does not make a lot of copies of games on the Metroid series. It is a slow sell, and they know it. And as for me as new METROID PRIME player since METROID: SAMUS RETURNS on the 3DS, getting the physical copy is worth it.

Worth getting a physical copy

Metroid Prime Remastered is an awesome game. It first released on the GameCube on 2002 and the graphics were incredible. Metroid Prime was the first metroid game to be open world and in 3D, as opposed to the previous platforming metroid games. Since then, Metroid Prime has had so many great expansions, with it having a trilogy. These 3 games were incredible with the exciting story and gameplay. I think Metroid Prime 2 and 3 will come soon to the Switch and they will each be remastered to their originals! Very exciting!
