first of all no guns, unlike the first dying light. it feels slower than the first dying light game, and what i like about this game is the scenery and how huge the map is. when its morning where the sun is shining down, and you're at the very top off a building you'll appreciate the view, but the second the sun hits the ground and the signal alarm goes of, RUN. this game will give you the thrill and excitement of being chased around as you do your best parkour skills to evade and outrun the zombies and volatile. this game is a must have as it will also have different endings depending on what you choose(choices matters).

VOLATILEEEE

I finished the game and it was a pretty awesome experience. The gameplay, graphics, open world are all a big step up from the first game. The story is solid and theres so many alternate choices to make that could make a 2nd playthrough very interesting.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human

I don’t want to be too critical of this game. I ended up liking it a lot. At first though, it was a bit slow. You didn’t get to the city for a while. It seemed like there were a lot of fetch quests- and I mean A LOT! But the story got better as the game went on. You also got more interesting items like the paraglider and the grappling hook. I ended up going with mainly the peacekeepers. You had to climb A LOT of buildings going with them! I don’t know if it was the same with the other choices. The combat was OK, and the enemies weren’t too bad- except the last boss. I had a pretty good ending on my run through. I spent nearly 32 hours with the game without doing any side quests. Overall, I recommend the game and I can see myself playing it again maybe in another year or so. I’d give it an 9/10 or 4/5/

Very Good Once You Get Into It

It sux

I played Dying Light in 2021 and it was a huge surprise. I loved the survival/crafting elements and the parkour was really satisfying. Dying Light 2 raised those things up a level. There is definitely the open world jank that happens, but I didn't experience any game breaking bugs. And despire performance mode on Series X only being 1080p 60fps, it didn't reduce my enjoyment of the game. There are lots of reused assets across the game environment mixed with a lot of hand crafted levels.

I loved the "dungeon" elements of the GRE facilities. I really grew to love and hate most of the main NPCs. And even after I made the decision about which faction I was going to support, I still felt like maybe I made the wrong choice because of interactions iwth NPCs. I only did one playthrough and will wait till New Game+ is added for additional playthrough and trying to get different endings. This lived up to and exceeded my expectations for this game. So glad I bought day 1.

The last great human settlement exists within an unforgiving, infected world. Exceptional agility and combat skills make you a powerful ally and a valuable commodity. With your unique abilities you have the power to be an agent of change within this decaying metropolis. Use it wisely.
