It is the year 50 BCE, and the whole of Gaul is occupied by the Romans... Well, not quite all! There is one indomitable Gaulish village still holding out against the invaders. Asterix & Obelix: Heroes immerses players into an ancient Gaul once again under threat from Julius Caesar, who is set on seizing the mythical Sword of Toutatis, which according to legend has the power to subject all the Gauls to his will. They must travel across 6 iconic locations of the comic series, to recover the pieces of a mysterious map leading to this coveted sword.
 
Asterix & Obelix: Heroes is a turn-based strategy card game, in which players must form a team of 4 heroes from the 24 unlockable characters, in order to vanquish the enemies standing in their way. They can craft their own decks, drawing on unique skills from each hero, to face the plethora of battles and challenges lying in wait in each of the 6 iconic regions of the Asterix world.
