Eiyuden Chronicle: RisingPC
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is still just the beginning of a bigger story that we are yet to discover, but it sets the town and expectations for the next installment.
Wildcat Gun MachinePC
Overall, Wildcat Gun Machine is a decent shooter. There are aspects of the game that feels unpolished or even rushed but the core gameplay loop is fun and that is what should ultimately matter. Hopefully, the game gets better through patches.
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: RemakePC
Overall, The House of the Dead Remake is a great addition to your game library and one that you’ll be playing again and again with its great replay value, finding various routes on the way to the bosses and their battles, rescuing researchers as you encounter them, and even finding score-increasing items and health kits as you mow down boxes and barrels along the area, and getting entangled in the battle against powerful bosses.
Vampire: The Masquerade - BloodhuntPC
Overall, it’s true that vampires and guns are a really weird and awkward combination, especially in the context of The Masquerade. On one hand, the Kindred make huge efforts to keep the vampire kind a secret to the world, on the other, they go guns blazing in the city of Prague, blood hunt be damned because you can simply outlast the timer anyway.
Cat Cafe ManagerPC
Cat Café Manager is a great way to unwind at the end of a long day thanks to the friendly Regulars, a brief heartwarming story, and upbeat music.
From its story to its platforming, Arise is simple in many ways and is not afraid to try new things with its mechanics. While its platforming makes things more difficult than it needs to be at times, it is the journey through the narrative that matters the most.
Forgive me FatherPC
Overall, Forgive Me Father is an immersive horror comic book style FPS with chilling backdrops and atmospheric sounds, even though the game is linear it lets you experiment with your approach with upgrades that you can implement in your weapons, stats, inventory, or your abilities.
CHRONO CROSS: THE RADICAL DREAMERS EDITIONPC
Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition is a great game to own, albeit being too late for its remaster and release, coming out seems like a quick nostalgia cash-in just to get something out of their fans. But if you’re a longtime fan that seeks to relive the nostalgia or experience Radical Dreamers for the first time, it’s a game you should pick up and will enjoy in the long run.
Chernobylite is best when it’s focusing on its characters, but I am not sure even that would make this adventure worthwhile.
Star Wars: The Force UnleashedSwitch
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Nintendo Switch is an amazing port. You get to relive the moments and space adventures of Starkiller and his motley crew in a much cleaner and sharper version of what the Wii offered.
MLB The Show 22 is one of the best baseball games on the market, if not the only one players should consider. However, as the MLB The Show series has cracked the code for crafting a baseball game that looks authentic and plays fantastically, development studio Sony San Diego may have painted themselves into a corner.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga reinvents the LEGO video game formula and revitalizes the entire franchise with something much more than what its predecessors offered. It’s crazy fun, and undeniably engaging, The Skywalker Saga is now the pinnacle of LEGO games in history.
Weird West has a lot of imperfections. Some of them can be fixed via a future patch, while some of them are aspects of the game itself that are now irreversible flaws. Despite this, Weird West’s enjoyable approach to combat and its mind-boggling story makes it a worthwhile experience.
Overall, The Ascent is a good game, especially for the PS5. For those who are fans of Diablo and want to try something outside their realm of expertise, this is the type of game that I highly recommend.
Tiny Tina's WonderlandsPC
Classes, spells, and RPG-style mechanics present new options for players hopping back into the satisfying first-person shooting that the series is known for. However, where Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands truly shines is in its superb setting, well-written characters, and off-beat writing that feels right at home within the framework of four friends playing a game of Bunkers & Badasses.
Ghostwire Tokyo is not a bad game, but it never reaches the greatness I’d seen Tango Gameworks do previously. If you’re a fan of open-world games, collecting things, and love side content, it might be something you enjoy, but be wary of the game’s narrative and battles. With those, you’re in for a bit of corporeal punishment.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security BreachPC
Overall, Security Breach is a good game to pick up for both seasoned fans and newcomers alike for its visuals, ambiance, and overall thrilling gameplay whose tension will keep you alert throughout the gameplay.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy OriginPS5
The loot game is unnecessary, and it is a pretty ugly-looking game. However, Team Ninja nails the gameplay. Killing classic Final Fantasy monsters has never been more fun than it is as Jack Garland. If you can dive into Stranger of Paradise knowing that you’re in for a chaotic mess with a solid gameplay foundation, you’re in for a good time.
Persona 4 Arena UltimaxPS4
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a good fighting but does suffer from a few drawbacks. It’s a good port for the PS4 and is definitely a must-buy for Persona fans. Arc System Works manages to accurately nail what a Persona fighting game should be.
Overall, the game is great and worth the asking price. The game is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans can look at the WWE and 2K Youtube channels to see more gameplay and mechanic trailers of what WWE 2K22 has in store for them as the game releases on their preferred system.
Destiny 2: The Witch QueenPC
Overall, I would recommend this expansion to anyone who seems interested in playing the game. Destiny 2 Witch Queen is arguably the best expansion the franchise has ever seen and while it may have its shortcomings the future looks bright.
Babylon’s Fall is a failure on multiple levels made worse by a plethora of outdated ideas and Square’s reluctance to innovate on the games-as-a-service model that ensures that it’ll never stand out in a sea of other mediocre live service games. This would have been an ok game if it weren’t for the premium track battle pass that really doesn’t seem to appeal to anyone. In its current state, it’s not worth the asking price.
FAR: Changing TidesPS4
FAR: Changing Tides is more concerned with showing a story rather than actually telling one, and it absolutely works out in its favor. Yet again, the series manages to tell an entire story without a single line of dialog. There aren’t many thrilling moments throughout the journey, but the ones we do have are some of the most eye-opening ones that I couldn’t even imagine being possible, even in the last game.
Gran Turismo 7PS5
Gran Turismo 7 quenches the need for speed. It’s not made just for the fans, but for everyone, and Polyphony learned what they’ve lacked in GT Sport. Gran Turismo 7 is the best racing game of 2022. Period.
Elex II is a mediocre RPG with a boring story and characters which is greatly ruined by its infuriating bugs and horrible mission design. I personally would not recommend the game in its current state.
