Persona 5 defiantly did not disappoint and lived up to every aspect of my expectations. It provides one of the best stories in gaming, while also providing you with a lot of freedom and flexibility which allows you to experience the game in your own way.
Where dinner and a movie may cost you around $60 and require driving around and wearing a face mask, Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition is available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for the low price of $40 and can be played comfortably from home.
While Slayaway Camp has the option to remove the horror, you can’t remove the fun from this highly addictive puzzler. Also, everything you view on the main screen menus from everything you’ve acquired to the level selection make it look like you’re at the video store, and I love the 90’s nostalgia.
Aragami: Shadow EditionSwitch
Aragami: Shadow Edition is a game that is certainly worth your time and I might even go back myself and give it a few more replays to earn a couple of achievements. The game has amazing artwork and is a significantly enjoyable game to play, but it certainly fumbles at times on the Switch.
Monster SanctuaryXbox One
Ultimately, I found every aspect of Monster Sanctuary to be original, creative and very impressive. It’s pixelated art style is surprisingly fresh and smooth. The music of Monster Sanctuary fits every scenario it’s played in perfectly and everything little thing about the monsters are absolutely fantastic.
Final Fantasy VII RemakePS4
In conclusion, Final Fantasy VII Remake is a solid game and is definitely one of the strongest games to come out in 2020. It is a riveting, compelling work of art that effectively invokes all the right emotions and still manages to be a game with a great amount of fun factor. Anyone who has always had an interest in getting into Final Fantasy VII can find an adequate start with Remake.
The Last of Us: Part IIPS4
The Last of Us Part II is a masterpiece in every aspect. It’s storytelling is unparalleled. Graphically, it’s a testament to every concept artist, character and environmental artist, and level designer out there. In terms of gameplay, it’s an incredible achievement for motion capture artists, animators, and programmers.
art of rallyPC
It is an uncompromising passion project about rallying and outside of a desire for the classic radio call-outs of a co-pilot or the addition of a mini-map that could free up the camera and bring you closer to the action, I can’t think of many areas where art of rally doesn’t succeed and deliver on its promises.
Everything about Peaky Blinders: Mastermind embodies everything the show has to offer, making you feel truly emerged in the experience.
On PC though the game seems solid enough, apart from a few graphical nit picks. So far I have experienced no crashes or anything game breaking on the PC version, so I would recommend it on PC. For console players though, perhaps hold off a little bit and see if any of these issues get fixed. But for players that can’t wait to jump into Night City, do it. It is a very fun experience backed up by fantastic story telling.
DwarfHeim has reignited the esports integrity of the strategic games, and many players seem to be excited for this new venture by Merge Games. The game has established the ground fundamentals however they need to add some more fan-requested features like single-player campaigns, add more Dwarf related thematic, more Thanes and potentially more classes in the future to diversify the gameplay for the players.
The core gameplay is super fun and rewarding, but it’s aided by the excellent art and music in the game. The chambers are designed with obvious care for the source material along with unique quirks and designs that make the game the designer’s own.
If you get any chance to play Forgone from Big Blue Bubble Studios, definitely give it a chance. If you like platformers with beautiful modern art styles and ruthless enemies at every moment, this is the game for you.
Well..there’s our review of ScourgeBringer…personally, I love the game and will be playing a lot more of it until Destiny 2: Beyond Light launches on November 10, so be sure to check out news about that down below! Will you be picking up ScourgeBringer for $16.99 USD on Steam? Let us know in the comments!
Booth: A Dystopian AdventurePC
Booth has definitely exceeded at least my expectations. A lot of respect towards the creators and developers of this game and I would definitely recommend it to fans looking for good story-oriented games. Onwards down through the rabbit hole of Iden and its government!
Treasures of the Roman EmpirePC
After releasing TOTRE, Strange Beat plans to release more games and I think, supporting smaller game companies as such is always a good thing to do. This straightforward game doesn’t come with a big price tag and only costs as what it should be with what the game offers.
While it doesn’t innovate on any aspects, it integrates a lot of systems into one ever growing product, that gets better as you play it. If you like guerrilla tactics and overcoming uneven-odds, Partisans 1941 is the game for you.
So the real question now…is the game fun? Short answer, yes. Fallen Angel is quite enjoyable for fans of pixel-art, boss-fight driven gameplay. There is a wide variety of weapons, equippables, and consumables to search for throughout the Heavens, with each item changing how the game plays.
To conclude… There are aspects of The Suicide of Rachel Foster that exceed expectations; the quality of it’s narrative and audio design, voice-acting performances… It’s truly at the highest level. However, when you compare this to the rest of the game you’re reminded that there are a few aspects of it that are painfully average.
Aquanox Deep DescentPC
If you’re a fan of the previous Aquanox games or if you enjoy underwater sub-simulators, then yeah, you’ll probably have a good time and I would suggest picking it up. If you prefer your games more action-packed and fast-paced like I do, then I would probably suggest you play something else.
I would recommend this game, but only if you are interested in this genre of game. While it is an enjoyable game and offers a lot of content for the price, it fails to expand upon the previous entry in the series. They have taken a “if it’s not broke then don’t fix it” approach, but in this instance that may have been a bad move on the developers part.
Would I Recommend The Survivalists? It’s hard to answer the above question. In its’ current state, I wouldn’t. The premise of The Survivalists is promising, but it simply lacks depth. Unless it’s on sale, The Survivalists will set you back a little over £20. It’s a nice game to kill time, perfect for the casual gamer, but isn’t quite worth the price tag.
The life of an unpaid intern is pretty gruesome already. Add hordes of goblins you have to defeat, a nagging project manager, coworkers with clashing personalities, and a very odd Amazon-esque parent company. In Going Under, there is a lot to do, and a lot to smash. Overall, the game has it’s problems as well as plenty of strengths that make you want to come back over and over again. For just $20, there is enough to do to make it worthwhile.
Ghost of TsushimaPS4
I honestly found it difficult to find anything wrong with this game. Sure, it might be a little difficult at times but that’s more down to the fact that my timing is awful. The English Language Audio is by-far the worst bit about it, but the fact that the Japanese Language Audio is so brilliant over-shadows this. I wasn’t playing in English Language Audio when writing this review, so it wouldn’t make sense to criticise it too heavily for it.
When you look past all the performance issues, the fixable things, Marvel’s Avengers is truly a fantastic experience for every Marvel fan. It’s a heart-wrenching story of hopeful inspiration and triumph against the odds complemented with fun and exciting gameplay. The cast of all-star voice actors brings the cast of all-star Marvel heroes and villains to life with excellent nuance and pure talent.
