Dig Out! - Gold Digger AdventureAndroid
Dig Out is an awesome game that’s simple to play yet difficult to master. It’ll totally absorb you within the first few swipes. I just personally wish there were more goals, however, limited goals are typical of endless games- so I’m definitely in the minority there. See just how deep you can drill while collecting rare gems, uncovering hidden treasures & upgrading your hero all while thwarting foes and not running out of pick power.
Splash Cars is a hit! Simple to play yet hard to master in growing levels. Add a little color to a dull world while racing to avoid obstacles and collect items and power-ups.
Toysburg: The Monumental AdventureAndroid
Toysburg is a wacky game chock-full of various adventures. Build toys and turn children into the giant version of them, pondering riddles, exploring the town, competing in toy building competitions and more. This animated world is zany and absorbs you to pick up and play often.
Galaxy Siege 2Android
Galaxy Siege 2 features super fluid smooth animations, great graphics and sound. It’s an action game that requires good strategy to conquer the planets. It’s very addictive, retrying levels often leads to figuring out how best to equip your ship. Go fast and tap the Install button above to download this awesome game for your phone or tablet!
Blend: The GameAndroid
The Game is a decent start to what can be a great logic puzzler. I personally felt it was limited and could incorporate more to keep one engaged. However, if you love simple puzzlers tap the Install button above to give this free game a try!
Hero of ManyAndroid
Seriously, Hero of Many is a must play game, eclectic in it’s own category and ranks the likes of Osmos HD and Eufloria HD. Offering a unique experience, beautiful graphics and superb sound- it’s on sale at the time of review so grab it now!
King's League: OdysseyAndroid
Absolutely yes! King’s League: Odyssey is an immersive and highly polished strategy game of battles and conquests. There’s plenty of variety to keep you absorbed and coming back for more. It’s only fault is that it may be a little overwhelming to grasp at first but hopefully this review helped demystify things. The graphics and music score are sublime. It only costs a few bucks and is definitely worth the download!
Should you Download Astro Golf? Yes! It’s an awesome game with great graphics, fun & challenging courses plus many power-ups and levels to play. The game is only a few bucks and well worth it. Tap the Install button above and download this game today!
Bardbarian is an awesome game with plenty of polish and challenge that will have you adsorbed for quite some time. It’s free to play but has the kind of smug “hand out” monetization strategy of a hotel doorman but bearable.
Should you Download Shoot That Bird? If you’re tired of the ridiculous addictive tapping gaming mechanics of Flappy Bird and want some Duck Hunt style vengeance then give Shoot That Bird a try.
Helidroid 3 : 3D RC HelicopterAndroid
ven though it’s not focused on RC copter battles, the variety of missions and gaming experience are an excellent excuse for you to grab this title. Try it on your tablet too and you’ll be amazed at the bright and fluid animation and gaming physics!
Myth Defense 2: DFAndroid
Myth Defense 2 expands slightly on the original with better graphics. Overall I feel they are quite small to really enjoy the visual effects with fiery towers, aircraft crashes and explosions- they’re still quite good.
he absorbing gameplay is complimented by cute sound and Minecraft-themed graphics to create a brilliant gaming experience. It might not be everybody’s cup of tea and some might find it a little short, but it’s irrepressibly fun so be sure to try it out.
Angry Birds Go!Android
The game is free so check it out for yourself but I was left disappointed overall, not through the game’s quality but the fact the developer could have made this so much better.
Doctor Who: LegacyAndroid
If you love puzzle games, RPGs or anything to do with the crazy and wonderful Doctor Who universe, this is most certainly a game you have to try. It’s immersive, addictive and, although the graphics lack some smoothness, it is still an excellent game.
Legacy of a Thousand SunsAndroid
The game style isn’t going to suit everyone and things are slowed a fair bit by the way in which you have to wait for powers to replenish (unless you fuel your way with IAPs!) but these things aside the game is certain to attract fans of the RPG genre. Legacy of a Thousand Suns is completely free to play, so definitely give it a go.
If you absolutely have to play every Sonic game- because you just love that little prickly fella, definitely give Sonic Dash a go. You will need a thick skin though if you’re going to avoid the persistent requests for in app purchases in the game (some up to around $50-60). Sonic Dash is free to download though but I would only recommend it to the hardiest or very wealthiest of Sonic fans.
Badlands is a lush and engaging adventure puzzle with stunning graphics, immersive sound and incredible gameplay. Definitely check it out, it’s quite possibly my favourite game of the whole year and worth every penny of the in app purchase.
Ridiculous Fishing - A Tale of RedemptionAndroid
Ridiculous Fishing is an incredibly fun game that blends the gameplay of more traditional fishing games with the retro-blaster Duck Hunt. It’s all brilliant fun and insanely addictive. Definitely check it out.
Plants vs Zombies 2 FreeAndroid
Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a significant update to the original game and brings loads more zombies, plants and bonus items. The graphics are fresher, the sound is fantastic and the familiar gameplay is lots of fun. The only sacrifice you really make is the potential need for significant IAPs if you want to complete the game.
Edge of the WorldAndroid
Edge of the World is a shuffle-board game that actually retains a dash of originality with its pirate theme and competitive online gameplay. The graphics and sound are superb and the gameplay, while limited, is fun in short bursts. It is a freemium game but it doesn’t pester you incessantly for IAPs, so it definitely gets my thumbs up. Be sure to check it out.
Once through with the tutorials and early missions, you can really blast off and explore the solar system! The game gives you a massive sense of achievement being able to construct your own rocket, blast off, orbit, find a planet and land on it. It’s obviously not going to be for everyone and there’s no aliens to shoot at, but for the amateur rocket-nerd, this is a game you must try.
Joining Hands 2Android
It’s easy to play but fiendishly tricky to master, a game you’ll be playing for some time to come if you get into it. Now, it’s not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but if you’re really into puzzles and do not mind the (almost sickly) cute thematic, I’d strongly recommend that you try it out.
Cover art Little Galaxy - Infinity space gravity gameAndroid
Little Galaxy is a fun, engaging and immersive little game that’s simple to play, hard to master and thoroughly enjoyable from the first second. The game cost is under $1 and I’d definitely recommend checking it out, especially if you like addictive, casual and great looking platform games.
Tiny Thief is a stealth puzzle steal-em-up mash up by Angry Bird’s developers Rovio. It features fiendishly challenging gameplay, cute characters and nice graphics. There is no free version of the game so you’ll have to take the plunge on the $2.99 charge but the game offers plenty of play time so it’s certainly worth the outlay. It’s perhaps not as absorbing as other Rovio titles, but if you enjoy stealth or puzzle games, definitely check it out.
