Like those other Rayman titles, Adventures effectively captures the spirit of the franchise; it just has a hard time living up to the sterling precedent those games set -- a tall task that maybe the mobile format never had a chance of accomplishing in the first place.

It’s all so very close for Rayman Adventures, but in the end, you’re going to end up wanting more from it. It might look beautiful, but its increasing number of niggles let the side down in the end.

It is a frenzied going, but not overly hectic, and there are enough tweaks to the core gameplay to avoid boredom, if even for a bit. It comes together fairly well, and is familiar with regards to its source content, but thankfully not overly reliant on it. All in all, easy to enjoy, and a great addition to the Rayman stable.
