However, if you are not into fishing at all, or prefer something a little bit not so repetitive, you can get bored really fast. It's a free game, yes it is, but once you are tempted to buy golden fishing rods or whatever it's more likely you uninstall it, because aside of the in sight gameplay it seems to work like a slot machine beneath, making you play over looking for a lucky shot. Ehem. Like fishing itself.
Ace Fishing: Wild Catch‘s biggest advantage, though, is how great it looks. Seriously, from the backgrounds to the fish animations to the lots of equipment to the chests, everything looks realistic, and is a pleasant departure from the sloppily thrown together beginner-level models. I probably like how great it looks even more than the rest of it, I guess – but it does look amazing, so if you’re a fishing enthusiast, but don’t have an option to experience the fish weight yourself, this is a bearable substitute.
The fishing here is accessible and fun, and its constant sense of steady progress and reward is extremely satisfying. Tie this in with great presentation and plenty of longevity, and you've got another top release from Com2uS. Ace Fishing is, as its name suggests, ace, regardless of whether you're interested in fishing .
