So I started playing Palworld because it's free on Gamepass. I've been on it for an hour and it's... really frustrating. I'm just wondering if everyone has the same problems with it or if it's just me.

The tutorial lacks urgency and just leaves you meandering around. The base building is unforgiving. Like I couldn't reposition my Palbox after I built it on a cliff, which just made the 7 levels of basebuilding even more frustrating. And the same thing goes for the wooden foundations for the "house" you're supposed to build for your bed. Don't get me started on the redundant crafting and building. Crafting palspheres is such a chore and I just keep losing them to misclicks anyway??

Prbably the worst thing yet, is that I just kinda DIE??? Even when I'm on the menu???

I mean, I get the appeal. Killing palmonsterthingie can be fun. Maybe I'm just bad at this. But right now, it feels like people are pouring love out on an inferior product *just* to stick it to Nintendo.
